loud noise morning disturbance
the bed creaked LOUDLY at every turn. traffic NOISE was noticeable in the early hours from a busy junction near the pub. additionally, housekeeping entered the room at 9am on a sunday. it woke us up and it was hard to get back to sleep, resulting in little sleep.

the bedroom was great with ample space. i found breakfast and dinner to be very good, offering quality meals. the location proved convenient , i enjoyed the quiet atmosphere of my room. the staff were friendly and helpful, assisting with my needs.
the bed creaked at every turn , it made a sleepless night.

amazing stay
friendly staff quick check-in easy access delicious meal
i found the staff greeted me warmly on arrival and check-in was quick. The hotel location allowed easy access to nearby attractions. The bar service was excellent, and i enjoyed the delicious and generous evening meal. every staff member was friendly and helpful.
the one very slight issue was that it sounded like the housekeeping hadn't fully shut the door. our door got slightly stuck and didn't close correctly because of the thick carpets. other than that i had a lovely experience.

helpful staff many options
the breakfast included many options. it had properly cooked ingredients (especially the sausages!). the staff was cute and very helpful .
the staircase carpet had some stains i noticed.

the bar staff was wonderful and they check me in quickly. i even won money as part of local businesses activities. the food and drinks tasted good also.
the room had skirting boards. they had a thick layer of dust and there were some stains on the walls too. tap in sink and bath were loose, also there was some mold around bath seal.

adequate stay
central location friendly staff tired place poor housekeeping
the room was lovely and central. it had great facilities, including air conditioning. staff were friendly and breakfast was excellent with well thought out portions, so we were charmed
i found the whole place a little tired, unfortunately. it NEEDS a freshen up, including repainting. the cleaning leaves a lot to be desired and we moved rooms BECAUSE of poor housekeeping, a HUGE disappointment ESPECIALLY at this time.
